This course covers the essential skills of leadership, motivation, inspiration and encouragement that every manager will need to get the most from the people within his / her team.

You will also learn core HR principles such as reward and recognition, training and development and performance management.

Who is the course for?

New and aspiring managers with team leadership responsibilities.

What will you gain from the course?

You will gain an understanding of the principles that underpin people management, how to treat staff fairly, build teams and understand the factors that influence performance.

This course can be offered with accreditation by ILM or iCQ as part of Level 3 Management qualification programmes.
